Cairo
Cairo is the capital
city of Egypt with more than 20 million inhabitants, if you are in Egypt for
holiday or sightseeing tours then Cairo comes as number one destination in
Egypt, because of the diversity in historical monuments, from pharaonic to
Christian & Islamic civilizations,
If you are in Cairo you
must visit the famous great Pyramids & Sphinx, then the priority of
sightseeing will depend on the length of your visit, usually Cairo over the day
tour will include 3 sightseeing tours between Pyramids, Sphinx, Egyptian Museum
and Khan Al Khalily Bazar, Cairo Citadel, Islamic Cairo, Old Cairo Churches
(The Hanging church & St Sergius church).
Luxor
In
my opinion, Luxor city occupies the second best Egyptian tourist destination
position, it is characterized as the “world’s greatest open-air museum”.
Luxor located 656 Km to the south of Cairo,
tourist can reach it by domestic flights or by train, the city is divided by
the Nile into 2 main areas the first is (east Nile bank which includes Karnak
temple, Luxor temple and the major modern landmarks, hotels & restaurants)
& (west Nile bank also is known by the city of the dead because it includes
the major pharaonic tombs in the valley of the kings and queens, Colossi of
Memnon and Hatshepsut temple, also the famous Nile cruise trips are running
between Luxor and Aswan.
Aswan
Number
three destinations are Aswan the most southern city of Egypt it has much
beautiful scenery for the River Nile and very peaceful atmospheres, Aswan has
interesting sightseeing such as Elephantine island, Philae Temple, Unfinished
Obelisk, High Dam, and optional tours to Abu Simbel.
Alexandria
Alexandria
considered as the second capital city after Cairo located along the coast of The Mediterranean Sea, its major sightseeing comes from Hellenistic civilization,
Ptolemaic era and Roman, the most interesting sightseeing in Alexandria are
Pompey’s Piller, Acropolis, the Obelisks, Catacombs, and Qaitbay Citadel.
Hurghada
Hurghada
is located along south of Red Cost it has no monuments but very beautiful
beach, diving trips, and many water activities, you can reach there by domestic
flight from Cairo, or by car from Luxor the duration around 3 hours there are
public bus run between Cairo and Hurghada and it cut the distance in almost 6-7
